چکیده
The phenomenon of a bubble bursting to generate droplets exists in industrial and environmental systems has subtle impact on our daily lives. A generated by gas injection or heating rises the free surface undergoes floating, drainage, eventually processes produce film jet droplets. interrelated make it difficult understand characteristics burst. Thus, summary individual stages single from generation burst is necessary. First, we describe calculation method simple expressions for shape floating surface. Next, discuss drainage model its influencing factors as this directly determines time evolution thickness. As an essential factor that affects thickness, defined lifetime. We compare lifetime distributions published literature explore associated factors. Then, investigate dynamics focus opening process once hole appears legacy burst, production process, size, number Finally, enrichment when releasing particles entrained This review considers series concentrates mechanism experimental correlations with future prospects.

a study on rate making and required reserves determination in reinsurance market: a simulation
reinsurance is widely recognized as an important instrument in the capital management of an insurance company as well as its risk management tool. this thesis is intended to determine premium rates for different types of reinsurance policies. also, given the fact that the reinsurance coverage of every company depends upon its reserves, so different types of reserves and the method of their calc...
Modelling Film Drainage of a Bubble Hitting and Bouncing off a Surface
A theoretical model assuming lubrication theory has been developed for the interaction of bubbles rising under gravity against a glass plate. This system provides modelling challenges due to large deformations and widely different length scales where bubbles of micrometre to millimetre size form films that are on the nanometre range. Numerical simulations agree well with experimental data and r...
متن کاملFree and constrained equilibrium states in a variational problem on a surface
We study the equilibrium states for an energy functional with a parametric force field on a region of a surface. Consideration of free equilibrium states is based on Lyusternik - Schnirelman's and Skrypnik's variational methods. Consideration of equilibrium states under a constraint of geometrical character is based on an analog of Skrypnik's method, described in [P. Vyridis, {it Bifurcation in...
متن کاملEffect of Bubble/Droplet Morphology and Slippage on Attachment Induction Time in Deoiling Flotation Process
A modified model has been analytically developed to describe the induction time of an elliptic air bubble in contact with an elliptic hydrophobic oil droplet. The role of hydrophobicity was revealed in the slippage of liquid over the surfaces of bubble and droplet. In this condition, the analytical relationships for pressure distribution and consequently hydrodynamic resistance force through th...
متن کاملEffects of geometrical characteristics of surface roughness on droplet wetting.
Surface roughness is known to alter the wettability on a solid substrate. In general, either Wenzel or Cassie-Baxter theory is adopted to describe the apparent contact angle. Following the minimum free energy pathway associated with the imbibition process, we have derived a generalized expression for the apparent contact angle on a textured surface and the liquid-gas contact area within the gro...
